Delete Your Mealkit Account

Mealkit accounts are optional — most people use the App without ever signing in. If you did sign in with Apple and want your account and data deleted, here's how.

In-app deletion (fastest)

Open Mealkit → Settings → Delete Account. Confirm, and your account rows and authentication record are removed from our servers immediately.

Email request (alternative)

If you can't access the App, you can request deletion directly:

1. Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your Apple ID sign-in (if you have one), or include your device/App details if you used Mealkit anonymously.
2. Use the subject line "Delete my Mealkit account."
3. We will delete your account rows and authentication record from our servers and confirm by email once it's done.

What gets deleted

• Your account record and authentication identity.
• Your saved pantry, recipes, and preferences stored on our servers.
• Any synced data associated with your account.

Analytics events already recorded prior to deletion may be retained in aggregate/anonymized form by our analytics provider (PostHog) per their standard retention practices, as these are not personally identifying once disassociated from your account.

Receipt/barcode images are never stored in the first place, so there is nothing to delete there.
